SysCanvas Architectural Design Philosophy

A modern Concept Design for high-fidelity Adaptive AUTOSAR (ARA) modeling.

1.0 Vision

SysCanvas was conceived to bridge the gap between abstract architectural requirements and real-world system deployments. In the modern Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) era, the complexity of Adaptive AUTOSAR (R20-11+) demands high-performance visualization that stays responsive under massive system load.

The Problem: Legacy tooling often feels sluggish and provides poor visual feedback on inter-ECU service dependencies.

The Solution: A lightweight, high-performance web suite utilizing D3.js and viewport culling to maintain 60 FPS even with thousands of architectural elements.

2.0 Core Architecture

R20-11 ARXML

Strict adherence to the R20-11 schema, ensuring hierarchical package integrity and port-to-interface mapping consistency.

VFB Simulation

Real-time SVG path animation demonstrates "Data in Motion," allowing architects to visualize service loading between software components.

3.0 Platform Clusters

SysCanvas provides native templates for key Adaptive Platform services:

Execution Management (EM): Application lifecycle and manifest orchestration.
State Management (SM): System-wide state transitions and lifecycle control.
Health Management (PHM): Supervision and architectural consistency monitoring.
Communication Management (ARA::COM): SOME/IP and service-oriented binding concepts.
